Q)  What if I have a permanent injury?

A) If you sustain a permanent injury on the job you are entitled to several different benefits as a result of that.  One of those benefits is a permanent disability payment.  That is a sum of money that is paid to you to compensate you for the loss of use and loss of function of a particular body part.  If you can not continue on  in your job because of a permanent condition other benefits such as vocational rehabilitation are made available to you.
