Q) What happens once I've notified my employer of my Workers Compensation MN claim?

A) Once notice is given to your employer, the employer and its insurer has 14 days to accept or reject the claim.  If they accept the claim then benefits will be paid as appropriate, if they deny the claim then you will need to seek legal council to pursue your legal rights.  You have to file what is called the claim petition and go through the litigation process.
