Q) What is Workers Compensation MN?

A) Workers Compensation came into existence in 1913 prior to that date we had no Workers Compensation law in Minnesota, so if you were hurt on the job you had to sue your employer and prove that the employer was at fault for your injury.  Since 1913 all you have to show is that you were hurt on the job and you are entitled to various benefits, however your benefits are limited by what is listed in the law, what the State Legislator tells you you can obtain.
